ETL Tester (Informatica Powercenter and IICS)

Role Location: Pune, India

Requirements and skills

1. 4+ years experience

2. Design and develop test cases and test scenarios for ETL processes implemented in Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.

3. Execute test cases to validate data integration, transformation, and loading processes.

4. Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and anomalies.

5. Create and maintain test data sets to simulate real-world scenarios and edge cases.

6. Document test results, defects, and issues in a clear and concise manner.

7. Collaborate with ETL developers to understand ETL logic and data mappings for effective test case design.

8. Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure that ETL processes meet business requirements and specifications.

9. Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings as needed.

10. Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and SQL.

11. Experience with other ETL tools such as Talend or DataStage.

12. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
