Customer Service Clerk (Dietary)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for recording patient menu orders and answering any questions related to their dietary needs.

Comfortable answering and recording phone calls.

Ensure meal orders are processed accurately.

Work closely with medical and dietary staff to ensure accurate dietary needs of the patient.

Maintaining a general knowledge of the therapeutic diets of patients.

Maintain client confidentiality and discretion of client needs.

Follow all sanitation and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a call centre and/or customer service role is highly regarded.

Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Experience in a food service environment is an asset.

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude and friendly demeanor toward clients and staff.

Ability to manage stressful environments and stay calm under pressure.

Comfortable using software programs, good computer skills, and typing of 35+ wpm.

Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
