Cyber Red Team Program Manager

The Red Team Program Manager oversees and supports the execution of red team activities executed by 3rd Party Red Team consultants and the BBH Red Team. The Red Team Program Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of tasks, mitigation of risks, and the resolution of issues to successfully meet project goals and deliverables. Responsible for driving the remediation of vulnerabilities across the organization.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Technology Management

Supports the execution of red team projects and/or segments of more complex projects through the project development life cycle.

Input and fulfil requests to provide BBH Red Team and 3rd Party Red Team consultants the accounts, access, tools, and resources required to execute red team activities.

Coordinates stakeholder engagement to facilitate understanding of vulnerabilities and mitigation and remediation in a timely manner.

Engage with infrastructure and development teams to drive remediation of vulnerabilities and advocate for recommended security changes.

Program Management

Executes the 3rd Party Red Team Consultant relationship in coordination with BBH Red Team Lead and Vendor Management, including financial, scheduling, resources, and reporting.

Manages execution of the project plan, controls the project budget, ensures the effective use of project resources and coordinates change control activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education level and/or relevant experiences(s)

BS/BA or Equivalent

Relevant Professional Experience 5+ Yrs

Knowledge & technical skills:

Test Planning and Execution

Program Management

Vulnerability and risk assessments

Vendor or consultant management

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Demonstrated understanding in the areas of cybersecurity, test and evaluation, and vulnerability management

Expertise with security assessment methodology, vulnerability management, OWASP model, CVE ratings

Experience communicating test results to stakeholders and collaborating to ensure timely mitigation and remediation of vulnerabilities

Knowledge/ability to classify the severity of vulnerabilities

Experience preparing and reviewing test reports

Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Ability to learn and utilize new technologies to research, analyze, and resolve team needs

Ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline oriented environment

Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)

Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
