Houseman/Handyman

West Chester Golf & Country Club in West Chester, PA is looking for one houseman/handyman to join our team. We are located on 111 W. Ashbridge Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

Responsible for complete set up and breakdown of all events, Follow all specific banquet event order sheets, room diagrams. To include tables, chairs, portable bars, umbrellas, tents, buffet equipment, linens and silverware.

Attends all BEO (Banquet Event Order) Meeting every Wednesday at 3 pm.

Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Banquet Room, Grill Room, Bar, Patio, hallways, storage and service areas.

Handyman duties: painting, changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, preventative maintenance on ice machines, air conditioners and filters. Plumbing repairs such as leaky pipes, and faucets, clogged toilets and drains. Power washing patio decks, driveways and entrances and the pool area.

Opening and upkeep of pool area cleanliness (tables and chairs).

Opening and upkeep of the snack bar cleanliness. Cleaning of the equipment, walls and floors.

All other duties assigned by the Clubhouse Manager

Qualifications

Must have a valid US Driver's License and use of an operating vehicle.

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday from 10AM - 4PM

Must be available on weekends with the occasional Sunday.

30-35 hours/week

Rate

$17.00 to $20.00/hour commensurate with experience.
