Fluidra’s looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team at our office in Atlanta, GA (by airport).

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The Senior Network Engineer drives technical design and deploys the most complex technical solutions to drive business efficiency and reliability. The Senior Network Engineer will lead the infrastructure team in network design and configuration for Fluidra’s revamped Next Gen Datacenter.

You will have responsibility for the implementation, performance, and stability of all North America’s core network, including firewalls, switches, routers, etc. The successful candidate will be strong technically, have robust background experience, and be able to contribute at a team and individual level. Additionally, you will:

Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-level network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Ability to troubleshoot network issues and failures to quickly assess current situations, find solutions, and implement changes

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other infrastructure components

Lead network infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

WHAT WE SEEK

8+ years of experience in Network Infrastructure engineering

With 5+ of those years in designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware virtual NSX Networking

Highest-level troubleshooting specialist who can resolve issues under SLA times in high pressure environments.

Understanding of Systems Architecture – Storage Solutions, Network Topologies, Security Best Practices, etc

Planning, Organizing, Executing and Setting Goals/Expectations.

A proven track record of partnering across organizational boundaries to deliver business results. Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong documentation skills

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

VMware VCP-NV Certification: Expert knowledge of VMware NSX Virtual Networking

Fortinet Certified Professional: Fortinet Firewalls, Fortiswitches, FortiAP’s, and FortiAnalyzer

Cisco Certified Network Associate: Cisco ASA Firewalls and Nexus switches

Advanced knowledge of vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and ESXi

Zabbix, Rapid7, and other logging/SIEM platforms

TCP/IP and the OSI model

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:

Veeam Backup and Recovery

Tanium Endpoint Management

Okta IAM

Active Directory

Windows Server & Infrastructure

Microsoft Azure

Microsoft 365

Proofpoint

PowerShell Scripting and Automation

Web Server – IIS Administration

Microsoft SQL Server – Clustering and tuning

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.
