Strategic Business Consulting Services has partnered with a growing manufacturer in New Iberia who is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Plant Manager) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our plant location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant management, with a proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving operational efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.

- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

- Manage budget and expenses related to plant operations.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or a similar role.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and achieving results.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
