Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified automotive training program is preferred
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
ASE Certification required
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician experience preferred
Proficient in using GM diagnostic equipment and software
Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing
Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical bulletins
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
