Technical Design Coordinator--Full-time/Permanent

A fourth-generation design company operating out of London, Vienna and New York. We design and manufacture unique custom-made kitchens, furniture, and lifestyle products. With a passion for excellence in craft and design, we are setting a new standard for contemporary luxury.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and well-organized Design Coordinator to join our Team in New York.

Role responsibilities:

• Daily you will be working on luxury bespoke kitchen and joinery projects, creating technical details and providing solutions for production drawings, preparing manufacturing drawings, as well as installation drawings. You will be the extended arm to the Project Manager from a project kick-off till the project close-out. You will be working in a team together with the Project Manager and Technical Designer.

• Communication and collaboration are further key elements within this role as you will be in close contact with several departments throughout the whole project life span. This also includes our production and manufacturing facilities in Austria, where you will be on the driving seat to work out and develop several technical details for the project’s needs.

• As important as the making is the installation, you will therefore also be in close contact with our site team to ensure a smooth installation from start to end.

• You will be undertaking site survey’s, creating setting-out drawings as well as coordinating and briefing Technical Designer alongside managing project timelines.

• Sharp attention to detail – “How am I going to design this cabinet if I have to make it?”

• Strong knowledge of material properties and design skills

• Excellent skills in AutoCAD (2D, 3D)
