DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete inspection and quality documentation
Liaise with Production and other relevant departments regarding quality defects.
Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications.
Inspect components for quality, accuracy, and compliance with procedures and codes.
Verify correct assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
Ensure that work instructions and procedures are followed during manufacturing.
Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the team to enhance quality and efficiency in production.
Assist in training production staff on quality control processes and procedures to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
Conduct testing and analysis of materials and finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements.
Provide feedback to relevant departments regarding recurring quality issues and recommend solutions / corrective action.
Conduct a thorough final inspection of the finished products.
Confirm that the products meet all quality and safety standards before release.
Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
Provide feedback to the engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
SKILLS:
Matric or equivalent
Quality Management or related field qualification
Certifications in quality control and inspection
3-5 Years proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing material handling automotive environment
Proven knowledge of quality control standards and techniques
Familiarity with ISO
