How you’ll make an Impact

The VP of Marketing will lead our marketing strategy and drive our brand forward in the competitive technology services market. This person will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that promote our IT services, expand our market presence, and contribute to our long-term success.

Responsibilities include overseeing lead generation (inbound and outbound), digital marketing, marketing operations, brand management, vendor management, and support our client events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing leadership, a strong understanding of service industry marketing, and the ability to innovate in a rapidly evolving landscape.

This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Summary of Location and Hours

This is a fully remote role

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm CST or EST What you will be doing

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals, covering demand/lead generation, digital marketing, brand management, marketing operations (HubSpot) and client events.

Oversee digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, website and online advertising for enhanced online presence and lead generation.

Lead content marketing efforts, ensuring creation of engaging content for target audiences and supporting marketing goals.

Manage the marketing team, setting clear objectives and KPIs aligned with growth targets.

Design and execute digital marketing campaigns to communicate our value proposition and differentiate services in the market.

Collaborate with Sales to identify revenue growth opportunities and implement supporting marketing programs.

Use data analytics (HubSpot) to optimize campaigns and achieve a high ROI on marketing investments.

Enhance brand awareness and reputation through strategic marketing initiatives and thought leadership.

Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Establish and monitor KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.

Manage the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources to high-impact initiatives.

Develop marketing materials and engage with industry players, partners, and media to enhance market presence and brand recognition.

Stay updated on industry trends and marketing best practices to refine and evolve strategies.

Work with the Client Experience team to develop Marketing campaigns that drive additional revenue from current customers.

Work with the Partner Manager to drive additional Marketing Develop Funds from various vendors.

Assist with the integration of Marketing strategies to newly acquired technology service providers that result from M&A activities. You’ll be successful in this role if you have experience in/with

Proven experience as a VP of Marketing or similar leadership role in the technology sector, including a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role

Understanding of the IT managed services market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.

Strong strategic, analytical, and digital marketing skills, with a track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and result in measurable business growth.

Excellent leadership, team management, and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.

Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools, including deep knowledge of marketing operations and platforms (e.g. HubSpot) with a data-driven approach to marketing decision-making.

Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, along with the ability to articulate a vision and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. Required language skills

Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally

Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public Benefits and Perks

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $180,000.00 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
