The Role

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will drive an understanding of the value and dynamics of Stori’s credit card business in Colombia. As a key member of the product launch team, you will start by developing our unit economics model to establish baseline cashflow forecasts and support our license filing. From there, you will build the foundational dashboards to monitor the portfolio performance of our burgeoning credit card business, communicating results with the highest levels of leadership. You will run experiments to learn what levers can impact unit economics, and your insights will influence overall strategic direction and enable the broader team to prioritize initiatives. As the company’s business analysis needs increase in number & complexity, a high-performer will be encouraged to build out a team of analysts to support their initiatives.

You will:

Develop the unit economics (customer lifetime value) model for our Colombia business to drive top-level business decisions and prioritizationCreate dashboards to monitor, understand, & communicate portfolio credit performance Understand how key differentiators – like acquisition channel, credit limit, pricing, product structure, or customer segment – impact our economics to guide our go-forward strategy

Propose & execute A/B tests or new initiatives that have the potential to drive account growth, improve customer experience, and boost company economics

Serve as a “customer” to the Internal Data team as they define presentation-layer tables in Redshift to ease business monitoring

Work cross-functionally with other verticals like Product, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, and Operations to drive strategic recommendations and improve company performance

Requirements

2+ years of work experience in a data-centric role (likely credit, consulting, banking, or a startup, but we are open to other relevant work experience)

Business-proficiency in English

Experience building unit economics models or other financial models (specifically discounted cash flows)

Proficient in SQL and Excel with experience in Python or another scripting language, with the interest and initiative to learn relevant new technologies

Experience creating dashboards in a data visualization tool like Quicksight, PowerBI, or Tableau with the judgment to know what metrics are important to monitor given specific objectives

Proven ability to drive projects independently & effectively communicate with stakeholders

[Nice-to-Have] A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline
