Job Description

Our practice is looking for a highly trained dental assistant to join our team, who can work side by side Gabriel Woodruff, DMD and provide exceptional care for our patients.

Permanent Position: Monday through Thursday 7:15am - 5:30pm (Patient hours 7:30am - 5pm)

Estimated Hourly Rate: $24 - $27 (Based on experience & open to discussion)

Requirements:

7-10 years Minimum Dental Assisting Experience

X-Ray Certification

CPR Certification

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Job Description: The dental assistant is upbeat and nurturing by nature. You perform a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting quality dental care for our patients in a safe and harmonious environment.

You are an advocate for the patients and practice by assisting the doctor, maintaining equipment and inventory, managing infection control, practice promotion, and more. You understand the value of preserving patient relationships, accurate records, and patient flow. You take pride in your ability to listen and think critically to document clearly, concisely, logically, and grammatically correct.

The dental assistant uses leadership skills, professionalism, discretion, integrity, honesty, and dedication to encourage clinical adeptness, teamwork, and communication with the patients and team.

About the Practice: Woodruff Dental is a Scottsdale based family dental practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment in our new, state of the art dental facility. As a private and local practice, we are able to create lifelong relations with our patients and work to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for them.

Woodruff Dental offers our community general and cosmetic family dentistry, including Invisalign. Although he graduated with high honors, two clinical awards, and was ranked top 5% of his class at Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry, Dr. Woodruff has gone above and beyond the average general dentist's training. He went on to further his education by completing an advanced education in his general dentistry residency program at the University of Michigan so that he can provide top tier cosmetic and advanced restorative procedures for his patients.

Dr. Woodruff is a member of several continuing education study clubs and also volunteers for the Arizona Mission of Mercy. He is an active and valued member of our community. He enjoys art and architecture, which reflects in his high quality dental care, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his wife and four daughters.
