CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client, an established international manufacturing company with a hub in WNY, is looking to add a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of existing operating procedures and implement necessary adjustments to improve the overall performance of the company
Utilize lean manufacturing methods in order to drive process improvement
Develop new standards for daily processes and clearly communicate to employees
Oversee the implementation of new policies/procedures to ensure effectiveness
Manage/mentor three Quality Assurance Technicians, one on each shift
Train team in Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma strategies in order to promote and develop a lean culture
Conduct regular data analysis and utilize value stream mapping to gauge effectiveness of newly developed/executed policies
Manage/audit quality systems and procedures
Ensure customer inquiries are addressed and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Coordinate with other teams to ensure quality standards are being achieved
Collaborate with HR to ensure change management tools are being implemented seamlessly
Complete special projects when needed
Work well independently as well as part of a team, ensuring clear communication between departments
Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
Position is full time, direct hire
100% in-office; flexible hours (ex. 7:00am-3:00pm, 9:00am-5:00pm, etc.)
$85,000 - $120,000 annually depending on experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Six Sigma Gren Belt or Black Belt certification required
5+ years’ experience in Quality/CI management role
Experience driving organizational change initiatives
Proficient computer skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organization skills and time management skills
Extreme attention to detail
Self-motivated
Maintain high level of confidentiality
Relocation not available
