HR Focal Point (HRFP) is a technology consulting company that specializes in the implementation and support of the on-premise and cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) applications from SAP. Our Managed Support Services team is seeking a passionate, seasoned and senior level resource to assist our customers with operating and maintaining their SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Payroll systems. Our EC Payroll Managed Support Consultant will work directly with clients and customers on their day to day business needs.

Job Responsibilities

Address production support tickets as assigned including issue/root cause analysis, system configuration, updating documentation, creating functional specifications and oversee development for custom requirements, unit testing and supporting subsequent testing efforts and issue resolution, transporting configuration, and user support.

Perform/Support routine Payroll specific activities business operations (customer specific) like supporting and performing regular and off-cycle payroll runs, form generations, posting, reconciliation, etc.

BSI Tax Update Bulletin maintenance, including change testing and coordination customer coordination and communication.

New Release and Support Pack maintenance, including testing and coordination with clients on changes.

Create OSS/SAP Support incidents and serve as a liaison with SAP for issue resolution.

Keeping abreast of new and relevant SAP features and functionality and new release content.

Payroll schema creation and maintenance

SAP Payroll IMG configuration

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and abilities:

A passion for Payroll, Human Resources, and SAP technology

Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills and the ability to understand issues at a high level as it relates to multiple customers, not just the reported issue at hand

Deep Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and/or on-premise SAP HCM Payroll

Commitment to quality and customer service

A desire to share knowledge with coworkers and customers

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Self-directed and can handle ambiguity and when applicable guide others on logical next steps

Ability to gather, analyze, weigh inputs/evidence; evaluate issues and come to an unbiased conclusion and/or options; and provide a recommendation for a specific course of action

Keen attention to detail specifically when given direction, gathering requirements, listening to customers, documenting issues, and problem-solving always with an eye of eliminating and/or reducing work effort the next time a similar issue or problem comes up

Capable of generating and introducing new ideas, concepts, or strategies

Ability to observe, infer and/or understand the perspective of others

Leading and/or working with individuals and other groups to achieve common goals and articulate the steps required by each party

Ability to budget and manage to time that has been allocated for projects and goals and structuring schedules to minimize conflicts and maximize productivity

Desire to learn and understand new or unfamiliar technologies, tools, and concepts

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree (or compelling related work experience)

Excellent English language, oral and written communication skills

US Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.

Willingness to travel (occasionally and as needed)

At least 2 to 5 years of US Payroll experience specifically with SAP technology including experience with to gross/net calculations, taxes, garnishment, interfaces, GL, and posting to finance. (International Payroll experience is a plus!)

Have played the role of module lead and/or primary SAP payroll configuration lead in one or more End to End Implementation projects.

Expertise in related SAP HCM / SuccessFactors and related business processes including integration with related modules (Finance, SAP HCM, Employee Central, Time Management, Benefits, Compensation, ABAP, etc.).Company Description
