Chiropractic Assistant

Verte Chiropractic in Orlando, FL is looking for one Chiropractic assistant to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 1814 Jake St. Our ideal candidate is a caring, ambitious, and engaging person.

Responsibilities

Assist the chiropractor with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and performing therapies as directed

Provide excellent customer service to patients, including answering questions and addressing concerns

Taking client vitals and medical histories/prepping the x-ray machine

Administer ultrasound, electric stimulation, decompression, rehabilitation exercises, laser therapy and traction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Maintain up-to-date certification by completing yearly continuing education requirements, as well as current HIPAA laws.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as using a massage tool/setting up patients
