Role Purpose

As part of Flutter’s Finance Automation strategy, we are looking for an exceptional Finance Automation Senior Analyst to join our team in London, UK. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class company that is at the forefront of the sports betting and gaming industry.

In this role, you will have an important responsibility in promoting the strategic significance of automation within the CFO function and leading the development of data visualizations to provide valuable insights to the finance team. You will work closely with other teams to identify the most efficient and effective automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Dashboarding & Visualisation: Collaborate with business partners to provide valuable insights as the final step of the automation process.

Tableau Cloud Administration: Ensure compliance and efficient deployment of Tableau Cloud within the finance systems.

Tableau Pulse Rollout: Take the lead in implementing Tableau Pulse & AI for current and future individuals involved in the project.

Automate Data Retrieval: Develop scripts to gather financial data from various sources, including databases and APIs.

Automation Workflows: Create and maintain automated workflows for financial processes, optimizing efficiency.

Data Storage: Manage data storage in SQL databases and ensure data integrity.

Error Handling: Implement robust error-handling mechanisms and debugging procedures.

Integration: Integrate automation solutions with existing financial systems and tools.

Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of code and processes for future reference.

Collaboration: Work closely with teams from different areas of the company and effectively communicate with individuals involved in the project.

Requirements

Data Visualisation: Understanding proven methods, visual analytics, and selecting suitable visualizations.

Tableau Cloud Administration: Experience managing Tableau Cloud deployment, including Projects, Permissions, and User Groups.

Dashboard Building: Experience in creating cohesive dashboards for presenting relevant information.

Data Source Curation: Ability to create clean and maintainable data sources for metrics and analysis.

Database Management: Understanding of SQL databases for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to create efficient automation solutions.

Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and individuals in the finance industry.

Additional Skills

Finance Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of financial concepts and instruments.

Automation Tools: Familiarity with workflow building tools such as Alteryx/UIPath and scheduling capability.

Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems for code collaboration and tracking changes.

Testing and Debugging: Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in code efficiently.

Architecture: Awareness of Cloud Infrastructure and networking.

Documentation: Good documentation skills to explain and maintain code.
