Are you a seasoned driver with a love for the open road? Are you seeking a dynamic position that allows you to utilize your skills and experience? We are currently seeking a Permanent Route Driver to join our Austin-based team. This is not just a driving job, it's about loading and unloading cargo, making sure deliveries are on time, ensuring the safe transportation of goods, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Route Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Safely operating a commercial vehicle, pulling and towing a trailer as required.

2. Loading and unloading cargo to and from the trailer.

3. Following a specific route and schedule to ensure timely deliveries.

4. Conducting regular vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues or maintenance needs.

5. Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or queries from customers.

6. Complying with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

7. Managing paperwork such as delivery confirmations, logbooks, and fuel receipts.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Route Driver position, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a truck driver, specifically with pulling and towing a trailer.

2. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or proven driving experience.

3. A clean driving record with no recent moving violations.

4. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems.

5. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.

6. Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.

7. Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

8. Knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

9. High school diploma or equivalent.
