Cadmus seeks a collaborative and experienced Senior VP-level Executive to lead our Corporate Growth team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker that has proven success in focusing on spearheading and developing growth initiatives and driving organizational and process improvements. A particular focus on driving efficient and successful corporate-wide capture is essential, as is ongoing engagement and building of trusted partnerships throughout.

Responsibilities:

Lead the firm’s Corporate Growth organization. In this capacity, the candidate will focus on identifying and qualifying pipeline opportunities, designing integrated capture strategies, and working closely with operational leads to pursue and win large, prime corporate-wide (“One Cadmus”) bids with current and new clients. This also includes but is not limited to designing and executing an overall corporate growth strategy and governance framework, instilling a growth mindset in technical delivery teams, and defining an overarching business development approach (framework, account management alignment to company strategy) that enables proactive, strategic, and priority lifecycle capture (identification through award.)

Requires significant time and engagement on a continuous basis with P&L leadership and their direct reports to support full business development lifecycle and maintain systemic approach to execution.

Develop, communicate, and direct the execution of business development growth strategies and processes to meet both market share and revenue goals.

Oversee key areas related to strategic capture, competitive analysis, and growth. This includes both client diversification and leading/overseeing corporate-wide bids.

Work in partnership with key stakeholders such as Marketing & Communications, the corporate divisions, and other departments to ensure integrated approach to capture and business development, especially with new clients.

Oversee the Corporate Growth operations and proposal teams. This includes providing strategic guidance, priorities establishment, and process improvement, as well as mentoring.

Leverage knowledge and network experience in GovCon to support, complement critical division-led efforts.

Oversee all strategic contract vehicle acquisitions.

Lead the effort in budget development and multi-year forecasts through oversight of effective and meaningful data analysis.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with 15+ years of relevant experience in strategic management of growth opportunities in existing and new accounts, as well as working with multiple stakeholders.

Critical skills include exceptional communication skills, collaborative but focused interaction with peers and others, ability to work on a diverse portfolio simultaneously, and comfort in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.

Deep and proven track record and expertise in working in GovCon space and deep expertise in government procurement process.

Possesses a strong network and active engagement level in key federal government agencies and in multiple relevant industry organizations.

Experience in working with highly technical delivery teams.

Proven experience and success in executing and teaching/mentoring long-term capture and critical proposal elements.

Experience in and comfort with formal and informal interaction with the CEO, other executives, and Board members, as required, around performance reports, financial performance, etc.

Success in operating at corporate level of large and growing business.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $270,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
