Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Food Service Associate to work 10:30am to 7:00pm (some weekends and holidays required), at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.

This position will pay up to $17.42/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required:

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or older

For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
