Job Description

Summary

Process and generate financial data for all departments, which together represent the accurate financial conditions of the business. Accurately process/oversee title processing, payroll, accounting schedules, and other accounting and administrative functions.

Essential Duties

Train and supervise office personnel.

Controls all posted documents, including time records, vehicle deals, commissions, additions, and changes to inventory.

Prepares daily bank deposit.

Reconciles select accounts monthly.

Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, protections and advertising accounts are current and accurate.

Prints and reconciles monthly journals, schedules, and general ledgers.

Ensures compliance with government agencies.

Prepares payroll on a timely basis, posts payroll and maintains payroll record.

Prepares tax reports, tax deposits, and returns in a timely and accurate manner.

Processes paperwork for new employees and terminations.

Maintains a professional appearance.

Attends managers meetings as requested.

Other tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
