Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for implementing the technology solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is based out of Chattanooga, TN.
Responsibilities:
Execute technical tasks for the implementation of technology solutions in partnership with project team and within budget
Provide timely and accurate information to clients and the team
Upgrade, configure, install and new solutions
Maintain existing networks and servers
Create and maintain documentation
Maintain and adjust project scope as necessary
Spend time in MCA offices and on-site with clients to facilitate implementations

Network Upgrades
Firewall Deployments
Full Stack Switch replacements
Wireless Installations/Upgrades
Server Migrations and Upgrades
Windows Servers Installs/Upgrades
VMWare, vSphere
On-premises and cloud-based solutions
M365 and Azure:
Azure Active Directory
M365 Exchange
InTune, SharePoint, Teams
Skills & Experience:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Computing/Engineering/MIS/Information Science
Microsoft MCSA Track and VCP certifications preferred
3+ Years of direct experience in deploying and configuring infrastructure equipment
Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Azure & Office365 including SharePoint solutions based on clients’ needs
Successful track record of implementation technology solutions through projects
Strong experience in server & storage solutions from partners such as Dell/HP/NetApp/EMC/EqualLogic/Open Stack
Experience in all virtualization platforms such as VMWare/Hyper-V/Azure
Understanding of emerging technologies such as hyper-convergence, SD-WANs and hybrid cloud solutions
Experience in firewalls/switches/VLANs utilizing such products such as SonicWALL/Cisco/ /WatchGuard/Ruckus/Fortinet/Dell Networking

Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily sedentary but requires exertion and lifting of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Occasional crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Repetitive use of computer (keyboard/mouse), and phone. Visually inspects, prepares, and analyzes data & figures, views computer constantly. Frequent travel (car). Occasional exposure to outdoor environmental conditions because of travel.
