POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) will be responsible for the management and daily operations of the clinic. This individual will ensure a high degree of ethical and professional standards are followed by all staff members. Monitor the overall quality and effectiveness of the agency’s mental health programs and make necessary programmatic recommendations to the leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and organize all activities in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC)

Design and implement business strategies to assist the clinic in realizing business goals

Oversee the OMHC’s compliance with legal policies, guidelines, and standards

Ensure the OMHC has sufficient and qualified personnel

Organize and run all patient care or administrative operations and programs

Ensure all medical records are current and within state and federal laws

Act as a connection between patients, their families, and additional care staff

Plan and manage the clinic’s budget and approve payroll

Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development

Assume responsibility for budgeting and resourcing

Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in medical science, clinical administration,healthcare administration, and related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Strong leadership and management skills

Great communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with clinical staff and patients

Good understanding of budget and resources planning budgeting in addition to evaluation procedures and methods

Hands-on skills dealing with Outpatient mental health systems such as EHR

Problem-solving skills when resolving administrative issues and conflicts

Ability to delegate and supervise tasks as required

Understanding of clinical practice and program development

Familiar with CARF and/or JCO standards

Minimum of seven years of experience in the healthcare business

Independent and effective problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with a teamwork approach

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems

Employment with interdynamics is contingent upon completing screening requirements (including, but not limited to, Criminal Background Check and State Child Abuse Registry Clearance).
