What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairway Lakes, a 340-unit apartment and townhomes community located in Westerville, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for:

Trouble-shooting resident service issues including, HVAC, general appliance work, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Ensuring the completion of all market-ready apartments, emergency and non-emergency service requests, various maintenance activities, and community inspections

Responding to maintenance work orders and following up with residents and office staff

Working with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that both the interior and exterior of the property meet company standards

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with emergency on-call rotation as designated by the Property Manager

The ideal Maintenance Technician will have:

1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance

Exceptional attention to detail

A positive, team-oriented attitude

HVAC certification is a plus!

A valid driver’s license with proof of insurance

High school diploma or equivalent
