Compounding/IV Pharmacy Techs

Job Title: Compounding/IV Pharmacy Technician Location: Concord, NH 03301 Shift: Need (1) to work 7-4pm and (1) to work 1-11pm, possible weekends.

Pay: $23.00/hr.

Scheduled Pay: Bi-Weekly Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and short-term disability after 90 days For more information, please contact Breanna Drollinger Direct Line at (call /text) Pharmacy IV Tech Description/Duties Works with Lead IV Technician in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness May be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Sterile Compounding room and QA as per USP 797 guidelines Fills prescriptions and prepares Sterile Compounding May be responsible for staging, preparing, filling orders for residents at long term care facilities and/or Alere, high-risk pregnant women May be responsible for compounding Sterile Compounding orders and syringes for Alere in a Class 100 clean room including compounding medications from non-sterile powders May be responsible for data entry and to assist pharmacist with calling nursing home and/or Alere for refill orders Responsible for maintaining, cleaning and accountability of pumps Pharmacy IV Tech Requirements Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations 6 months-1 year of IV pharmacy technician experience High School Diploma or GED JOB ID# 134875 Keywords: Pharmacy Technician, pharmacy tech, pharm tech, IV pharmacy tech, IV, pumps, sterile compounding, long-term care, pharmacy, closed door, pharmaceutical care, medications, compounding, stock, inventory, medicine counts, organizing, controlled substances, dispensing, prior authorizations, mail order, insurance verification, insurance eligibility, order entry
