We are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses (RN)/ Enrolled Nurses (EN) with Critical care experience on a Part Time and Casual basis.
About the role:We are seeking skilled and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) with critical care nursing experience to join our rapidly expanding Western Sydney clinical team. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and training the support workers in delivering exceptional clinical services.
This role will support and assist people with disabilities who require high care needs in their homes and in the community, to ensure their health and wellbeing according to their NDIS plan. This is including and not limited to:
Main tasks
Assessments
Managing various medical conditions e.g.: Diabetes, Epilepsy, Mental Disorder, Peg Feeding etc. according to the care plan.
Medication and nutrition management
Communicating with all Stakeholders and updating patient’s profile
Liaison with all Allied Health professionals and manage medical appointments.
Training the support staff
Other Duties
The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the client’s needs.

Undertake ongoing professional development, education. and training relating to clinical practice.
Ensure all practice meets professional, organization, legal and ethical requirements.
What we look for:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as RN/ EN
3-4 years nursing experience in the industry, working in the disability sector is an advantage.
Clear understanding of the quality standards of Disability care according to NDIS.
A strong passion for quality in the Disability Industry.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Motivated and taking ownership of the work to be part of the team.
Good administration / documentation skills.
Hard Working, flexible with availability as this service requires 24/7 care.
Strong values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Loyalty.
