Position Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Artisan Baker to become an integral part of our professional baking team. Reporting directly to the Head Baker, this position offers a unique opportunity to work in state-of-the-art facilities to open this July, crafting high-standard breads alongside like-minded professionals. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about producing quality handmade products and is eager to grow within a vibrant, multicultural team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare various types of dough and bread products using commercial baking equipment including mixers, moulders, dividers, retarder proofers, and ovens.

Assist in the overall production process, crafting specialty rolls and loaves such as knot rolls, hamburger rolls, round rolls, and more.

Contribute to the training and supervision of apprentices and trainees, ensuring adherence to high standards.

Coordinate daily production plans with the Head Baker, focusing on both quality and quantity.

Uphold cleanliness and safety protocols in the bakery according to HACCP standards.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated passion for baking with a minimum of 4 years’ experience or formal training in bread making.

Proficiency in various dough applications and hand-forming techniques.

Strong English literacy and numeracy skills, with effective communication abilities.

Positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Must have reliable transportation.
