Position Summary: The AX Developer reports to the Manager, Retail Systems and works with other IT team members, business leaders, consultants, and end users in coordinating and developing solutions within Company's Dynamics AX ERP environment from concept through implementation and support.

This role coordinates with internal personnel, external partners / consultants, provides leadership, and contributes directly in projects and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Perform in-house software development tasks that require excellent technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills Responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle (mainly in .NET and in Microsoft Dynamics AX) including: design and planning, development, unit testing, QA testing, installation, deployment, and support.

Understanding of technical and functional requirements Creation of technical design documents Development of requirements Unit testing and QA testing Installation and configuration Support Qualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.

A.

or B.

S.) or equivalent from four-year college in computer science systems engineering, or computer engineering or related field.

3+ years of significant practical and technical experience in a Microsoft development environment, AX 2009 preferable.

Experience with a software product development environment.

Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

2 years significant practical and technical experience in a Microsoft Dynamics AX environment (Morph-x and X++). 3+ years in a retail / distribution environment.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong knowledge of .NET (C#, XML, web services, etc.). Knowledge of SQL Server.

Knowledge of C++, Java, or other object-oriented language.

Experience with a software product development environment.

Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

Microsoft Certified Professional a plus.

ERP system experience strongly desired.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 / 2012 experience.

Microsoft Dynamics AX .Net Business Connector experience.
