Network Engineer Specialist

Location: Onsite (Hybrid) in McLean, VA OR Plano, TX on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Years of experience: 4+ (Implementing Zscaler Suite) Must Haves: Must have hands on experience with Zscaler SaaS proxy solutions.

Additional must haves are Zscaler DIA (Direct Internet Access), Authentication Bridge, Nanolog Streaming Service, and Zscaler V ZEN (Virtual Zscaler Enforcement Nodes) appliances.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related engineering or sciences field or Equivalent job experience.

Strong core knowledge and skills Zscaler DIA, Authentication Bridge, Nanolog Streaming Service, Z-Tunnel, etc.

Experience building Zscaler V ZEN appliances for DR/BC.

Experience defining business legitimate Categories for allowed traffic.

Strong experience with network router, switch, F5 GTM and LTM (any load-balancer experience), Firewall configurations.

Familiar with Python, Ansible, or similar coding skills and automation experience, utilizing low-code solutions is also acceptable.

Experience with Akamai or CloudFlare, or similar DDOS providers is a plus.

Lead conversations to work with other network engineers and application developers to gather requirements and create a design document to address business needs.

Knowledge of working with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.

Strong documentation skills and process creation experience.
