OTC Operations Senior Analyst

Overview:

The OTC Operations Senior Analyst will assist the Trade Desk to manage a book of limit, market-on-open, market-on-close variety of good till-cancelled orders and coordinate with the broker network on market movement driven status management and fills execution. Determine foreign exchange impact on the purchase and sale of commodities in global markets denominated in non-US dollar currencies.

Responsibilities:

Equalize the firm and customer accounts to eliminate accounting inaccuracies or inequities.

Manage Knock-In and Knock-out options in book of exotic trade strategies to derive accumulations and prices as it pertains to the firm and client accounts.

Extract data and manage trade expiration, product discovery and risk aggregation as a factor of Greeks and profit and loss analysis.

Maintain a front-end pricing and risk management system through the application of Over-the-Counter (OTC) agricultural financial derivatives theories.

Perform data mining and querying for statistical analysis of existing trade positions and trade desk’s book consisting of a variety of financial instruments, including Euro Swaps, Asian Swaps, futures, exchange look-alike options, digital options, barrier options, calendar spread options and accumulators.

Represent the trade desk across the Risk Consultant network for position education of financial instruments, options and other exotic derivatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Economics and Finance and two (2) years of experience as OTC Operations Analyst or Trading Analyst

The two (2) years of experience must have included working with Greeks and other mechanics of over-the-counter (OTC) financial instruments, including options, accumulators, digitals, barriers and accounting and risk controls of the same and use of SQL to manage trade expiration.
