Pricing Manager - Insulation Europe

Location: Remote or Hybrid in any countries in Europe with our insulation sites, for example: Finland, Poland, Sweden, Belgium or Lithuania

About the position

Join us in making the world a better place by reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions! Stonewool and Cellular Glass businesses manufacture and provide insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption. Here at Owens Corning we are fully engaged in reducing our CO2 emission by a series of ongoing investments.

We are looking for two Pricing Managers who will be collaborating with sales and marketing to make pricing decisions in line with the commercial strategy for each customer segment, application, product, channels, etc.This, in order to to define and execute pricing strategies enabling incremental business performance. As these are new positions the Pricing Manager will actively collaborate with each other to align on the pricing policies in the EU insulation. As a member of the Stonewool Building Insulation and Cellular Glass Marketing Leadership Teams you will be the owners of pricing processes in the businesses.

This is a pivotal role in the success of our business, providing direction and analytics (you have authority to challenge our choices!) which support the short and long-term price and business decisions

What does success look like?

Partner with strategic sales, marketing and finance teams to develop and refine pricing strategies that maximize EBIT while delivering shared goals.

Responsibility for the execution of the pricing strategy, with pricing approval authority.

Evaluate new business opportunities and risks, while anticipating and considering the competitive reaction to mitigate market disruption.

Collect and analyze information from multiple sources (field intelligence, trade reports, macro economic indicators, industry reports, etc) to understand and articulate the competitive landscape, market dynamics and potential implications on commercial performance.

Team with others across the company and businesses to maximize the performance of the business.

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed

Experience in analyzing commercial performance: price, margins, volume, mix

Experience in analyzing market and pricing trends and recommending action based on analytics

Strong commercial background, ideally in diverse industries and channels

A continuous improvement mindset to increase efficiency in our processes

Development and growth mindset

Strong influencing skills

Business requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s and / or Master degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field required. Preferably an MBA or equivalent.

5+ years of Pricing / Revenue Management / Finance / Sales and / or Commercial Excellence experience

Strong analytical abilities

Experience with CRM

Fluent in English

Location: this is a Remote position, possible to be based from our European sites
