The APPs will be part of an acute pain management service at Spartanburg Medical Center – Church Street (SMC) and Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black campus (MB). New graduates will only be considered with prior OR or Critical Care experience.

Highlights of the opportunity include: 7 on/7 off: 7am – 3pm in house and 3pm – 7am beeper call Monday - Friday: assisting with preoperative nerve blocks for surgical anesthesia and/or postoperative pain control rounding on inpatients seeing consults and assisting physician with any associated procedures making follow up phone calls to outpatients and discharged patients documentation of services provided beeper call Saturday - Sunday rounding on inpatients seeing consults and assisting physician with any associated procedures making follow up phone calls to outpatients and discharged patients documentation of services provided beeper call Assisting the anesthesiologist with the following procedures: catheter placement and management for acute pain single shot nerve blocks for acute pain initiation and management of intravenous ketamine/lidocaine infusions for acute pain Exceptional Compensation Package Including: Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available Attractive Retirement Options Paid Malpractice to Include Tail Coverage PSLF Approved Institution Additional Information Medical Group of the Carolinas (MGC) is a Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s physician group, made up of more than 600 physicians in more than 29 specialties and 38 primary care; serving Upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina.
