Are you passionate about shaping the future of renewable energy? I am actively working with a client looking to bring on a dedicated Solar Assistant Project manager to team up with us and reshape the solar industry. As a Solar Assistant Project Manager, your role will be pivotal in guiding projects from initial site assessment to delivering the completed PV system design package, seamlessly transitioning to the Construction phase.

Your Responsibilities:

Undertake engineering and technical tasks, ensuring rigorous compliance with technical and code standards.

Provide essential technical support and conduct thorough quality inspections during construction to ensure alignment with NEC, operational, and safety guidelines.

Identify the most fitting technical and material solutions for each unique project and conduct comprehensive design calculations.

Cultivate collaborative relationships with third-party engineering service providers, Independent Engineers, and a diverse range of stakeholders.

Lead design deliverables, including comprehensive reviews of equipment specifications, shop drawings, and concept design diagrams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., BSEE, BSME, BSCE, BSChE).

Mandatory acquisition of NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification within 18 months of employment.

A minimum of 2 year of engineering experience, with a preference for those well-versed in electrical, mechanical, structural, or civil engineering.

Bring prior experience from the solar industry, particularly in commercial, utility, and distributed generation projects.

Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, adeptly managing multiple concurrent design projects.

Your Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in utilizing computer-aided engineering or design software.

Excellent communication abilities, pivotal for productive collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Mastery of relevant codes and standards, including NEC, IBC, IFC, and NESC.

Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, PVsyst, Microsoft Excel, and others relevant to the role.
