Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing and executing all phases of the creative development process from concept to completion. The creative specialist oversees and executes the creation of artwork, videos, photos, copy and layouts for all creative projects. The creative specialist ensures that the creative projects follow brand standards and implements policies that reinforce the brand strategy. This position will involve overseeing designers and extensive interaction with cross-functional team members in line with North American business objectives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Work with the marketing managers to develop and execute a creative strategy consistent with the overall marketing and business strategy
Work with key stakeholders to develop creative briefs
Create and coordinate high-impact, performance-driven visual content, including but not limited to: video/image ads, image ads (banner, display, etc), emails, organic social, print ads, presentations, etc.
Produce marketing content that supports events across all touchpoints
Work with external creative teams to execute all assets needed for creative requests
Create in-house graphics and marketing materials to be utilized in a variety of formats
Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards, are accurate, current, and effective
Seek out and apply knowledge of new trends and innovation in Graphic Design & Branding
Help develop, maintain, and enforce processes and approval workflows
Help maintain a repository of creative assets (Digital Asset Management)
Update and up-keeping of all Creative and Production servers (job and image archive)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic art, advertising, visual communication, or related field or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or Adobe XD, and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi)
Experience with art direction, graphic, web, mobile, video/broadcast and motion design (animation)
Strong art direction/design portfolio
Ability to adapt and be willing to learn new tasks in fast-paced, evolving environment
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Experience managing large-scale creative projects with a team of creatives and cross-functional partners, from brainstorm to delivery
Knowledgeable about various types of creative mediums, including video production, graphic design, vendor sourcing, printed asset development, and photography
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Capacity to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously
Highly organized
