Drafter

Position: DRAFTER 1 and 2

Openings: 4

Duration: 3 year contract (with possible extension/conversion)

Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm

Location: Marinette Wisconsin

PR: $17.20/hr + $4.57 fringe

Must Haves

2 Years of experience OR an associate degree

Auto Cad, 2D design, 3D designs for foundations/structures (does not have to be ship related-can be home structures)

Proficient with using AutoCAD

Plusses

- Experience using Navis, MS Excel, Bluebeam/Power PDF, Ship Constructor

- Ship building or marine background

Day to day

Supporting a large shipbuilding contract

Sitting on the detail design team that is responsible for updating models and issuing changes.

Taking a 3D model and extracting it to 2D that is then sent to manufacturing.

These models will be structural pieces of the ship (ceiling, stiffener plates)

Assisting with drawing revisions and updates

This is all done in AutoCAD and Ship Constructor
