R&D Engineer

Are you an experienced R&D Engineer with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to work at their company in St Paul, MN.

Position Summary: Work with R&D Design project teams to develop and execute on plans to create, verify, and validate new technology, products, materials, processes, or equipment with minimal supervision. Understand internal and external requirements, facilitate team achieving deliverables on schedule, and drive recovery efforts when project impacted. Foster a collaborative and communicative environment among team and cross-functional groups.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Work with R&D Design and cross-functional partners to generate and execute on project plans.

Track, document, and communicate success criteria, dependencies, and work progress.

Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues as necessary to ensure success.

Support technical work through change notices, materials management, etc.

Facilitate SOP/WI compliance, design reviews, risk assessments, and verification/validation activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.

Help build a positive and engaged project culture.

Identify and track the Design team's project budget needs.

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications

5 - 8 Years with BS, 3 - 6 Years with MS, 0 - 3 Years with PhD

Strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of medical device requirements, change notices, and dFMEA required. Familiarity with task management systems (MS Project, Jira, Miro, etc.) a plus.

Must be proactive and able to drive execution with a positive and supportive approach.
