Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer

Our client, a well-known community bank in New Jersey, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Lender to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial lending experience and a strong book of business in the area.

Responsibilities:

Originate, evaluate, and structure commercial real estate loans in accordance with the bank's lending policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources within the community.

Analyze financial information and assess credit risk to make informed lending decisions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure loans are processed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and monitor ongoing credit quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience, with a focus on commercial real estate.

Proven track record of building and managing a book of business in the local market.

Strong credit analysis skills and understanding of credit risk.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Credit training or background.

Existing network of commercial real estate clients and referral sources in New Jersey.
