Project Managers are responsible for:
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and conclusion of diverse consulting engineering projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
• Utilizing appropriate communication tools to keep clients, firm management, and other stakeholders informed of project developments.
• Collaborating extensively with firm management, discipline leadership, and staff to ensure the expected quality of project delivery.
• Establishing and fortifying relationships with existing and potential clients, while addressing any concerns they might present.
• Implementing and reinforcing the firm's quality assurance and control protocols to align with industry benchmarks and client expectations.
• Generating detailed project reports that encompass milestones, financial overviews, and recommendations for future endeavors.
• Monitoring projected billings based on project progress and approving monthly invoicing for applicable projects.
• Preparing fee proposals, negotiating project fees and scope, and reviewing related contracts.
• Collaborating with management to ensure proper staffing and projected manpower for applicable projects.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering or architecture.
• B.S. degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management, preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Exemplary team leader with an enthusiasm for collaborative work.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technical experience in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience using project management software and tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is an advantage.
