Linux Engineer

The Opportunity:

Join a leading Stamford-based brokerage firm and drive operational excellence within their Linux production environment. You'll optimize systems, implement robust monitoring, troubleshoot complex issues, and champion innovation.

What You'll Do:

Scale operations within a Linux-based production environment.

Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex production issues.

Support and optimise deployment operations.

Research and integrate cutting-edge Linux-based tools to drive continuous improvement.

Must-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on Linux experience (Red Hat preferred).

Strong Python and/or shell scripting abilities.

Experience supporting applications within Linux environments.

Fluency with Git for version control.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Kubernetes, VMware, Docker, or OpenShift.
