Ranked among the nation's top Construction Managers by Engineering News-Record, our client offers integrated construction, design, and technology solutions for a diverse clientele in both public and private sectors. We currently offer the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.

We have an immediate need for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding MEP design team in our Buffalo or Rochester, NY Offices.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage design drawings from customer requirements to plans and specifications.

Coordinate with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service.

Design electrical power and lighting systems from service to load.

Arrange service room layout, coordinate utility conduit, grounding, and lighting protection.

Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports.

Conduct electrical & fire alarm field surveys.

Perform photometric calculations using electrical AGI 32 software.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.

NYS Professional Engineer required.

10+ years' relevant design experience.

Strong leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of New York State Building Codes.

Ability to generate new business across all sectors.

Excellent communication skills for coordination with design team and client stakeholders.

Ability to meet strict deadlines and perform well under pressure.

Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in providing technical direction and on-the-job training to less experienced Electrical Engineers.
