Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing: Source and evaluate bids to secure materials, supplies, and services at optimal terms.

Purchase Order Management: Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy at every stage.

Supplier Relations: Select and manage vendors, negotiating prices and terms for maximum value.

Expedited Delivery: Ensure all orders are expedited and delivered on time, maintaining smooth operations.

Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance and cost savings, ensuring continuous improvement.

Inventory Support: Assist in maintaining inventory levels and materials as needed.

Communication: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams, disseminating information and resolving issues promptly.

Emergency Response: Participate in the Emergency Response Team, a vital aspect of our commitment to safety and security.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or relevant experience; additional education a plus.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience: Previous experience in procurement for oil and gas, maritime industry knowledge advantageous.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications: Must possess or obtain a TWIC card and maintain a valid US driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, prolonged periods of desk work.
