PLC Controls Engineer

PTS is looking for a PLC Controls Engineer with a passion for helping shape the future of automation.

The PLC Controls Engineer will work with customers to design and program PLC and HMI hardware for their specific specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform quotes for the design and programming of PLC and HMI hardware

Design, test, and implement automation systems

Coordinate with customers to meet their specifications for systems design, controls package and operator interface

Perform factor acceptance and site acceptance tests

Provide technical insight and advice to customers on PLC's and HMI's

Support of On Call Rotation

Job Qualifications:

4 Year Bachelor's Degree

5-8 Years of automation and controls engineering experience

PLC and HMI programming experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley

Ability to collaborate in a team environment

Ability to travel: 30%

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
