Successful candidate will support litigation and bankruptcy attorneys by coordinating schedules, preparing legal documents, and communicating with parties. Successful candidate will have experience in Debtors, Creditors, Creditor Committees, and Chapter 7 or 11 bankruptcy matters. Duties, including but not limited to:
Performs bankruptcy searches on various databases and dockets results
Assist in due diligence materials
Assist with filing of petitions, resolutions, first day pleadings
Correspond with clients, creditors and other interested parties regarding case issues.
Collate information and exhibits for motions, applications, notices, memoranda, proofs of claim.
Review and edit documents and exhibits, charts and diagrams.
Calendaring and administrative duties such as scheduling travel, meetings, appointments
MS Word (using styles for formatting), Adobe Acrobat Professional, pdf Docs and a familiarity with MS Excel, MSPowerPoint and Time Entry.
Proficiency with document management systems, such as iManage.
Assisting with expense reimbursements
