Description:

Role Description

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As a Senior Unity Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting captivating mobile gaming experiences. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around conceptualizing, designing, and implementing engaging game mechanics using cutting-edge object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with our team of programmers and gamers to bring our vision to life and deliver top-notch gaming experiences to our players.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Unity game engine development within a commercial setting. Proficiency in manipulating 2D graphical assets and translating them into seamless user interface experiences is a must. Your ability to create immersive and interactive gameplay elements will be crucial to the success of our projects. While experience in Android Mobile Game Development is preferred, it's not a strict requirement.

We highly value candidates who have contributed to at least one shipped title, as this showcases your ability to navigate the complexities of game development and deliver tangible results. Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for critical thinking will empower you to overcome challenges and innovate within our game development processes. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as you'll collaborate with diverse teams to achieve shared goals.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory. Mobile game development expertise is a must-have for this role, as our game will initially launch on Android and later transition to PC. The game itself is a Western survival adventure featuring both PvE and PvP elements, drawing inspiration from popular titles like The Forest, 7 Days to Die, and Subnautica. It's designed as a free-to-play experience with optional micro-transactions, a Battle Pass system, and in-game currency for character progression.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have hands-on experience developing games with similar themes and mechanics, especially on mobile platforms. Previous work on a shipped game is highly valued, as it demonstrates your ability to see projects through to completion and deliver polished, player-ready experiences. If you're passionate about crafting immersive gaming experiences and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you.
