Assistant Trader

THE FIRM:

My client is a top boutique credit hedge fund that's in growth mode

*Must be okay with 5x in office as well as meeting with investors

THE ROLE:

The Assistant Trader will work directly on the trading desk supporting the Head Trader with any trading related matters including:

-Sourcing investments

-Price Monitoring

-Sub in for the Head Trader in his absence

-Record trade activity on blotter

-Trade reconciliations

-Ensuring trades are settled properly

-Resolving any trade breaks

-Pre and post trade regulatory / risk items and reporting

-Weekly recap of trading activity on the desk

-Analysis of fund activity

-Trading counterparties list

-Investment tracking

QUALIFICATIONS:

-5 - 8 years of investment operations

-Must have BANK DEBT product exposure

-Must have strong Microsoft Excel Skills (pivot tables, vlookups)

-Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation
