Cyber Security Governance Analyst

MUST HAVE:

Strong reporting/metrics experience, presenting to C level executives, leading/mentoring teams

Experience managing the risk life cycle - taking a risk from identification, building out a remediation/action plan, and managing it through to close

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity to navigate complex cyber risk situations, lead teams, and ensure adherence to risk frameworks, fostering a secure environment for the organization's operations. This person will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Cyber Security organization, driving audit, compliance, and risk remediation efforts. The right person can sit in the Minneapolis Twin Cities area or in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of Audit, Regulatory, Risk, and Self-Identified Findings.

Build strong partnerships and report regularly to senior leadership.

Conduct risk-based evaluations, ensuring timely issue escalation and resolution.

Develop and maintain a roadmap for strategic and tactical initiatives, enhancing process visibility.

Navigate ambiguity, apply recognized risk frameworks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

The Ideal Candidate

4+ years of IT experience, specializing in Cyber Security

4+ years of experience in ITIL processes

Advanced knowledge of risk management and audit principles and regulatory compliance requirements

Experience in using Archer or other Risk Management systems Experience of cloud technologies

Risk certification (CISSP, CISA or CRISC)

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting requirements and issues clearly

Ability to navigate complex situations and build strong partnerships across businesses
