Scope of Work:
CTI is seeking a motivated and organized Business Development Analyst to support our Business Development team in the pursuit of new business opportunities. The Business Development Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring the Federal marketplace for new opportunities, managing CTI’s pipeline, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive success in securing contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Research, monitor and analyze potential, emerging, and active bid opportunities listed on government procurement sites such as SAM.gov, GSA e-buy, FPDS-NG, as well as through platforms such as GovTribe/Govly/GovWin
Support the development and management of a pipeline of qualified federal government opportunities, providing detailed analysis of new opportunities that align with the company's strategic vision and tactical plan
Support and report on pipeline opportunities data by stage and perform analysis of pipeline data
Manage and own daily updates to pipeline data in CTI’s CRM platform
Perform market research on customers, markets, services, and competitors as directed by Business Development team
Assist in the capture process by participating in capture planning sessions, conducting competitive analysis, participating in gate reviews (bid/no-bid), and contributing to win strategies for federal opportunities
Support Business Development and Proposal teams in capture, proposal solutioning, coordination, and development processes
Track existing contract renewals and recompetes
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of business development, capture, knowledge management, and strategic planning processes within the organization
Support Business Development and FP&A teams on development of annual sales plan and forecasts
For certain opportunities, engage directly with prospective government clients to secure and participate in both virtual and in-person meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in government contracting, with a focus on the federal sector
Deep understanding of the federal procurement process and proficiency in navigating key government procurement sites and platforms such as GovWin/GovTribe
Research & analysis skills, with a focus on identifying and evaluating potential contract opportunities
Proficiency and experience in pipeline management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to engage with both internal teams and government agencies and clients
Strategic thinking and an ability to align business development efforts with company objectives
Requirement:
Must be United States citizen or permanent resident with a valid work permit.
