A city-based law firm specializing in beverage alcohol regulatory matters is currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team in a Temp to Hire capacity. This role will be based in office, requiring full-time availability to support a partner and their team of attorneys. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in the industry while handling tasks such as drafting engagement letters, managing long-term client relationships, assisting with special projects, and ensuring accurate data entry into our systems. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting a partner and assisting other attorneys in the office
Calendar management, setting up meetings, following up on letters, scanning, filing in their case management system, copying, running errands in the city, coordinating messengers, and saving files in the appropriate manner within their systems
Handling agreements between Shareholders and Operators
Working in the Thompson Reuters System and ProLaw Elite (will be trained if haven’t used)
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 to 5 years of administrative experience, preferably law
Talented and smart- someone that is driven and looking to jump into this position and roll their sleeves up and learn.
Technology oriented
Working in an office Monday – Friday from 8:30/9-5pm
COMPENSATION:
$21.00-$24.00 as temp; once perm, $55,000 - $60,000. Would likely temp for 60-90 days.
