The Choice, Inc. is seeking an immediate Membership Relations Coordinator for our client, an association that supports and advocates for members of our National Defense forces as well as their families. This is an immediate hiring need. The position will start on a temporary basis, with the intent of temporary to hire, if it is a good fit.
The Membership Relations Coordinator is responsible for daily support in all areas of administrative services for the organization’s membership program including customer service, database administration, membership marketing, and events.
This role would be a great fit for professionals with:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field
At least two years of professional experience. Previous membership experience with an association would be a large plus
Previous experience working with a CRM also a large plus (Salesforce, etc)
This is an in person position. Must be able to commute to Arlington daily. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Job Duties will include:
Serve as the main point of contact for member inquiries
Perform time-sensitive customer service duties such as correspondence, online troubleshooting, membership verification, and fulfilling material requests
Provide customer service for the association’s magazine, including handling claims, invoices, and database processing for subscriptions
Assist with running monthly and daily data reports and processing financial batches for the Membership department
Assist with data processing involving memberships, donations, and other purchases.
Perform account data entry
Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Membership and other relevant departments
Assist with the mail and email campaign processes for new memberships and membership retention
Oversee Membership materials inventory and track reorders
