Electrical Engineer

Our client, a Robotics company based in Miami, FL, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their hardware team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, validating, and verifying electrical components for both current and future robotics systems. In this role, you will contribute to all aspects of their robots, from initial design to system power distribution.

The base salary for this role ranges between $160k and $180k, dependent on skills and experience, complemented by equity packages. Duties will include:

Prototype development and R&D demonstrations to enhance the performance and reliability of electrical and electronics components.

Perform verification and validation tests on electrical components to ensure system safety and reliability.

Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting in response to product reports.

Adhere to quality and safety protocols and good documentation practices.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing business and quality operations.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Experience in operating and maintaining lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, solder stations, multimeters, and signal generators.

Competent in schematic design, PCB layout, PCB bring-up, and prototyping (preferably using Altium).

Hands-on experience with motors, encoders, and various sensors.

Proficient in embedded electronic design and firmware development.

Knowledgeable about EMI/EMC and electrical safety standards.
