We are looking for a Power Platform Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for contributing to digital transformation solutions, analyzing intelligence derived from connected systems, and maintaining data integrity. They will work closely with technology team members and subject matter experts to make recommendations, execute development, test solutions, and document processes to deliver a robust Microsoft Power Platform solution. The company is in a heavy growth mode, which will require this role to be able to work with new teams to migrate data from various similar and disparate systems into our tech stack.
Role and Responsibilities:
MS Power Platform knowledge:
Has experience with data imports (collecting, organizing and importing)
Experience setting up permissions and sharing settings within the platform
Experience with building out Dataverse structures, Power Apps and Power Bi Reports
Analyze business problems and partner with Technology team to design, develop, and deploy solutions to meet business needs
Hands on experience building out custom solutions and leveraging the full functionality of the Power Platform
Documentation Requirements:
Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them directly into technical solutions using the Power Platform
Support user acceptance testing
Create and maintain thorough documentation for existing solutions and processes
Partner with Training department to update training materials and enhance training program
Data Migration:
Manage the migration of data from the acquired company's systems to the acquiring company's infrastructure
Ensure data integrity and security during the transition
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with IT integration
Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges
Requirements:
3+ years of Microsoft Power Platform experience
Experience in building custom Power Apps using a variety of data sources (Dataverse, Sharepoint, Excel)
Advanced process automation knowledge and building out flows utilizing Power Automate
Strong understanding of best practices and functionality with in the platform
Ability to combine Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Bi Reports
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders and end users
Proven ability to successfully drive projects to completion
Expert level proficiency with MS applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, and Access
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working in a team environment
Excellent ability to multi-task with great attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of building out Power Bi reports
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Salesforce knowledge preferred
Experience building reports and dashboards in Salesforce
Familiarity with DocuSign, Emoney, and Laserapp a plus
